It has been a very long time since I've been around. Thanks to those that have left comments or added favs while I was gone. There are too many for me to thank each and every one.
A lot has gone on in my life. I've reenlisted, gotten married, had a baby, and gone to Iraq and come back. Now that I have a wife and baby, I don't have time to work fractal art. It's kinda sad, but now I have the perfect excuse to focus on another form of art: photography. I've gotten a new Canon Rebel XTi and I've taken tons of photos with that already. I'm going to work on perfecting my technique and also work on post processing. Hopefully I'll get some decent p

Ooops. . .I got busy again. I haven't uploaded much art in the last. . .um. Week. Yeah thats close enough. I've got a ton of stuff sitting on the computer. It doesn't take me very long to find a fractal I want to render. Blessing and a curse. So I'll try to upload several tonight and maybe more tomorrow. I'm going to try to get a ton of stuff up over the weekend so bare with me.

So, its been awhile, eh? After my second little vacation from dA, I'm back. A lot of stuff has happened in the past few months. Some major, some minor.
1) I'm going to stay in the Corps. Thats right, Marcus is reenlisting.
2) Anna and I have a new date for the wedding. I can't remember the exact date because its changed about 300 times already but next spring.
3) I got promoted. You may now call me Corporal Marcus.
Thats all the major stuff. I'm sure there are other things that I should mention, but I'm drawing a blank at this point. Once I start remembering I'll update and stuffs.

With a drink of wine or an ice cold beer
Perhaps you're like me and don't drink the swill,
Or your like my grandparents who live on pills.
Maybe this world seems harsh at times,
Or its just that most of us just like to whine.
I'd say that this is a great place to be,
It all depends on how we can see.
True we've had bad things in the past,
But we know in our hearts that these will not last.
If we try our best to be simple and pure,
There's nothing our hopes and dreams cannot cure.
So, I don't know the value this is worth,
But lets all try to be happy and heal Mother Earth!
